Job description

Numerical minded individual needed to join payments team at Head Office of major Retail chain. This role focuses on managing work distribution of team members, provide feedback on work and maintain accurate records. Individual responsibilities will include schedules, fuel cards and other recoveries.

Minimum requirements for role:

• Accounting/Bookkeeping Diploma or Certificate
• Matric/Grade 12
• 3 – 6 years’ experience in payments and bookkeeping environment
• Previously payment manager experience advantageous
• Computer literate (MS office and excel essential)

Responsibilities: (not limited to)

• Contract register management
• Expense management
• Expense reconciliations
• Invoice and creditor reconciliations
• Reconcile VAT and payments
• Management of expenses and fuel cards
• Signing off of payments and online banking
• Team ad hoc administration
