Responsibilities:

• Attend college 4-5 days per week
• Lecturing 16-20 hours per week
• Courseware and curriculum development.
• Creating of teaching aids and assets
• Formulation of assessment tools
• Test, assignment and exam marking
• Student support and query handling

Requirements:

• Experience in computer games development and design
• Solid C# programming skills
• Proficiency in the use of Unity 3D
• Exposure to 3D modeling and environment workflows in 3DS Max
• Exposure and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

Software knowledge:

• 3D Studio Max
• Unity 3D
• Photoshop
• Maya and other Autodesk software a plus

Background in the following is a big advantage:

• Animation
• Computer science
• Graphic design
• Interactive media
• Multimedia design
• A body of work that demonstrates competency in modeling, game development and game art asset creation

Skills/attributes needed:

• Technical ability, in particular familiarity with a range of software packages and/or programming languages
• The ability to present the content in a class environment to learners
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
• Creativity and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm for the games industry
