Assist Chief Trainer with training activities to achieve field sales business objectives. Functions as a team with the Technical Service and Support Manager and Reman Supervisor to establish employee competencies in terms of employee functions within Reman department. Provide technical support to internal customers, and warranty adjudication and reporting to external customers.

Duties

• Manage warranty adjudication and reporting process on behalf of Eaton Truck components ( Pty) Ltd.
• Manage internal employee functional training and work closely with Reman Supervisor on training needs.
• Manage quality of Reman products.
• Conduct service parts, disassembling, assembling, final test and quality training programs and presentations for employees.
• Effectively manage the Health and Safety concerns as assigned to you by the Plant EHS Coordinator.
• Participate in trade shows and displays as required.
• Submit detailed reports on technical issues to our customers.
• Provide guidance to staff on warranty and technical matters.
• Competitive information gathering as field input.
• Assist chief trainer with OEM training activities as required.
• Assist Reman supervisor with technical inspections as required.
• Conduct clutch failure analysis and inspections required from customers and report.

Education And Minimum Experience Requirements

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)

• 3 year N-6 National Mechanical or Electrical Diploma
• 5 years work experience in the commercial vehicle industry
• Proficient in MS Office package
• Driver’s license, code 08
