Duties and Responsibilities – “Your Role”

Assisting researchers, data scientists, and developers with a wide variety of tasks to advance the data analytics function in producing actionable insights for researchers, consultants, and clients

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain existing data science platform
• Building data process support tools for existing products
• Maintenance of all associated datasets and pipelines on diverse platforms including the AWS cloud environment

Development

• Build data pipelines for new modeling tools to support internal research, consulting activity, and new or existing products
• Extract, clean, and automate data extraction and pre-processing

Data delivery

• Build data delivery mechanisms to provide data to non-technical analytics staff
• Create data flow for client facing products through APIs and dashboards

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Advanced knowledge of Python 3 (Pyspark, numpy, pandas, ODBC, matplotlib, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of SQL
• Some data visualization experience with PowerBI
• Ability to transform messy data into usable, stable, automated data flows
