    New Business Development / Sales / Hunter

    Job description

    EC is a specialist in the provision of business changing and value-centred Customer Engagement and Management solutions using the world's best CRM and CEM software. We are offering a prime role for an energetic, dynamic and seasoned sales professional (hunter) who can open and close deals of all sizes through their passion for how software can drive organizational change and improvement.

     

    You will be required to identify and develop new business opportunities by taking exciting and cutting-edge CRM and CEM technology capabilities to market. You will work alongside a top-notch consulting team to close deals, but will be accountable for achieving an individual target.

     

    EC is in a phase of growth and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who loves the ever changing and improving world of software and technology. We require a disciplined, passionate and hard working individual who loves the chase.

     

    A Successful candidate will be coached and required to develop the following skills:

    • A good understanding of CRM as a business science
    • The ability to clearly communicate our value propositions at any level, up to Executive
    • Salesmanship
    • Conduct technical sales meetings (together with a qualified technical pre-sales resource)
    • Provide engaging, appropriate product demonstrations to potential clients
    • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and telemarketing events.
    • Use CRM software to manage pipeline
    • Chase down and meet targets

     

    You must be able to establish solid relationships throughout the sales cycle, exude a passion for understanding the business needs of the customer and articulate the value of EC's offering in meeting those needs at all levels of the business. You must therefore be a naturally confident and engaging communicator, and a self-starter.

     

    Minimum requirements for this position include:

    • Degree or diploma (Commerce or Technology) favourable.
    • Minimum 3 years of demonstrable software sales experience essential.
    • Enterprise softare sales experience favourable.
    • Proven sales track record required.

     

    Our remuneration structure is attractive and we reward excellent performance. While you will have an OTE package based on minimum sales per month, there is no ceiling on your earning potential. You are limited only by your own capabilities, enthusiasm and willingness to succeed.
