Main Job Purpose

• Lead and provide management of the Manufacturing Site Planning and Logistics teams.
• Lead the Customer Service and Logistics (CSL) Pillar for the site
• Participation and active contribution to Site Leadership teams and forums

JOB SUMMARY

Leading the Factory Scheduling and Material Planning teams and delivering through them :

• The production plan to the factory taking into account factory resource (labour, machine and material) and supplier (raw and packaging) constraints into account Ensure delivery of WIP and other product that is used by Third Party Manufacturers to make product on Unilever’s behalf.
• Manage the call-off & receipt of all raw and packaging materials required to meet forward production plan.
• Responsible for warehousing of all inbound materials ordered, including managing stock counts, stock rotation, stock controls and system transaction processing.
• Lead, drive and deliver the Customer Service & Logistics (WCM) Pillar as part of the Site WCM agenda.
• Drive delivery of customer service within Site Logistics & Manufacturing through effective KPI management.
• Production bias/ Plan vs Actual (output reliability)/ Demonstrated Capability/ Stock record accuracy
• WCM KAI and KPis
• Responsible for Planning & Warehouse Team Management (All IR issues, Department Budgets & people development).

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant completed tertiary qualification
• Minimum 2 - 4 years’ relevant Supply Chain experience
• Proven Leadership track record
