Job description

Test coordination and management:

• Manage testing defects and involve relevant business staff in quality assurance testing analysis.
• Manage test plans by performing regression tests (existing functions). Execute system validation plans (new function) and liaise with the Business Analysts and technical teams in order to compile test scripts.
• Develop and execute test plans for Functional and Automated Testing
• Estimation and prioritization of testing effort across the lifecycle.
• Develop and execute test cases and/or scripts and create/set-up the associated data.
• Analyze requirements to inform design of test scripts that test specific software functionality to ensure it satisfies the requirements.
• Be recognized as an software testing SME and advise others with confidence and authority.
• Mentor other test analysts to encourage testing best practice and develop their skills and experience.
• Recommend improvements to test processes.

Test Planning:

• Identify appropriate types of testing e.g. performance, regression and automated etc.
• Define and prioritize test scenarios.
• Define test cases.
• Identify data requirements.
