    Marketing Analyst

    Job Description

    We are looking to expand our retail business in Cape Town and are currently looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic and experienced B2B and B2C Marketing Analyst to join our team.

    The mandate is to increase traffic, convert visitors into qualified leads, and nurture these using dynamic workflows.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create Scalable Processes that ensure the application of best practice in lead generation and data base management.
    • Understand and analyse data in order to formulate effective marketing strategies
    • Analyze and report on campaigns effectiveness across all channels and make recommendations for improvements
    • Create best practice processes and guidelines to ensure effectiveness of campaigns across multiple-channel and for multiple content
    • Devise inbound marketing campaigns utilizing lead-nurturing workflows and scoring, emails, and social channels
    • Ability in formulating pricing recommendations, new products/service offerings
    • Gather market intelligence and perform market researches and analysis on competitors service/product offer
    • Articulate the company's value proposition and solution offering
    • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems e.g. marketing automation and CRM software. Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve marketing team performance
    • Monitor and maintain data quality within CRM
    • Perform customer profiling and segmentation and to carry out data collection and analysis regarding the contact channels;
    • Monitor the integrated profitability of a single target, product and service.
    • Analyze consumption trends and identify the most popular offers
    • Be able to work with Google Analytics on marketing matters

    Requirements:

    • Educational
    • Related Marketing or Commercial Degree

    Experience

    • Minimum of 1-2 years working experience with B2B and B2C lead nurturing, marketing automation, email marketing, and web analytics.
    • Minimum of 1-2 years formal marketing analytics or data analytics experience
    • Minimum of 1 years experience with SalesForce or a related CRM tool

    • Ability to connect with decision makers and foster relationships
    • Ability to organize, prioritize and effectively multi-task daily to meet deadlines

    • Must be able to work independently and in a fast paced environment
    • Excellent aptitude in Microsoft office specifically Excel with a broad understanding of CRM application tools
    • Own vehicle with a valid code EB drivers’ licence.
