    HR Service Centre Consultant

    Job Description

    Scope:

    Provide efficient, accurate and timely customer focused enquiry advice as first point for HR contact to SA employees and 3rd parties. The incumbent will provide general guidance, assistance and resolutions in terms of employee information and administration ensuring the processes, procedures, organizational policies and relevant Legislation are managed and maintained correctly throughout the employee life cycle.

    As part of the HR Shared Services team, the incumbent is required to work alongside the wider HR teams and support business management in the delivery of HR services by completing and implementing relevant HR Processes

    Qualifications & Experience:

    - Minimum HR Diploma/Degree Preferred

    - 2 years HR working experience in a generalist or administration role

    Job Requirements:

    • Transactional administration and Support
    • Independently deliver and oversee complex HR Administration Information processes i.e. New Engagement, Terminations, Staff movements, HR System and Employee File Administration, Employee and Management Self Service data update and support, Leave Administration and Support. Adhoc data updates requests as per formalized processes.
    • Ensure changes to employees are completed in a timely manner with the appropriate authorization Administer employee benefits and provide guidance where necessary
    • Provide standard reports where necessary
    • Manage the interface from the HR system to other key areas
    • Administer all correspondence to employees ensuring it is written in a professional manner and complies with employment legislation and company policy

    Accountability:

    Process Accountabilities:

    • Communication internally with team members on tasks allocated as well as engaging with relevant stakeholders to provide feedback on requests/information.
    • Prioritization of daily, weekly and monthly tasks in accordance with relevant processes and SLA agreements with Payroll and business
    • Pro-actively analyze queries from all stakeholders and assign query resolutions to relevant parties
    • Conduct daily quality assurance on all information captured for sign off
    • Systems / Standards
    • Maximize the effectiveness of the HR function by using the appropriate systems and procedures that ensure compliance with AF standards
    • Customer Services
    • Manage all aspects of first line of customer contact and administration/transactions through email, telephone and face-to-face enquiries in accordance with operating protocols and procedures.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of HR Processes to customers questions and escalate to the OPS Team leader/Business Partners and Centre’s of Excellence depending on complexity
    • Ensure that customers questions are fully addressed and follow through to ensure that each case is resolved
    • Provide high quality services in a timely and effective manner and within agreed service levels
    • Record and track all customer contact in the company’s internal database

    Document Management:

    • Complete all relevant process templates and sign off for processing
    • Ensure checklists are updated and signed off for all documentation received and processed
    • Maintain HR files for all employees, both electronic and hard copy.
