Job Description
Faircape Group has a temporary vacancy for an experienced Credit Controller to take responsibility for reconciliation of debtor accounts, resolution of any queries or issues with debtor statements, production of accurate and timely debtor statements, reports and reconciliations.

Duties Will Include, But Not Be Limited To

• Telephonic collections
• Reconciliation of debtors accounts
• Attends to complaints and queries, and resolves problems within company guidelines and policy
• Issuing levy clearance consents
• Processing of journals, invoices, credit notes
• Liaising with Attorneys
• Handing over of bad debts to attorneys
• Email/Post/print of all statements
• Sending out letters and final demands for outstanding debt falling behind
• Maintains accurate and up to date customer details and overdue accounts
• Ad hoc duties

The duration of this assignment will be 4 months.

Requirements

Qualification: Grade 12

Experience & Knowledge: 3 years experience in similar role; sound accounting knowledge; strong excel skills

• Skills & Attributes: Computer literate, excellent communication skills, able to perform under pressure; deadline driven; must be accurate; attention to detail

Specific Requirements: Clear health record; clear credit record; no criminal record

• Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 08h00 to 17h00 with a daily lunch break of 45 minutes.
