    Inventory Analyst

    Job Description

    Key Result Areas:

    •  Manage demand and distribution of inventory/availability using demand forecasts, using historical orders and software tools in order to support the operations plans and customer demand of the company.
    •  Manage adherence to stock levels (re orders and gearing).
    •  Compare inventory reports to national purchasing trends.
    •  Responsible for assuring that the requirements for the purchased items are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner and that stocking levels are maintained within established guidelines.(Purchasing and delivery budget)
    •  Prepare management reports thereby increasing the awareness of issues pertaining to inventories (Distribution and replenishment plans)
    •  Inventory information dashboard to improve budget maintenance and overall efficiency.
    •  Prepare inventory purchase Forecasts with bridging.
    •  Excess stock management vs Installed base analysis.
    •  Report and resolve customer service issues promptly.
    •  Support Supply chain Services and Operations Managers in various analyses and other tasks in order to meet inventory targets.

    Qualifications :

    •  A bachelor's degree B Comm (Logistics) h - demonstrate a high level of expertise and proficiency. Understanding of Logistics principles and procedures. Applicants with previous experience in retail or inventory management with equivalent qualifications will be considered.

    Experience :

    • Experience working in a Day to day management of the Inventory system and stock holding, management of the Inventory spares.
    • Financial and Business acumen - Knows how our business operates and is intuitive to Bytes organisational values system
    • Experience demand planning within the services industry

    Attitude/Behaviour:

    • Proficient in : MS Office :(Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
    • IT products and processes technical skills.
