    Sales Representative - Tier 3 - Field Sales - Gqeberha, Eastern Cape (Northern Areas)

    Key Responsibilities
    The purpose of the role is to implement the Tier 3, Sub-D / Main Market strate-gy at retail level. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure targeted Cover-age, Sales, Distribution and Retail Presence Objectives are met. The channel is a must win channel and of strategic importance to the Company and its principals.

    • Consistent development and updating of the Retail Outlet Universe Data base.
    • Consistent achieving of Coverage, Sales, Numeric Distribution & In Store Communication objectives.
    • Achieving of the trade coverage plan.
    • On time reporting and completion of daily administration objectives.
    • Implementation of all merchandising initiatives according to determined standards.
    • Responsible for all company resources on a daily basis i.e. Vehicles, POS, Merchandising material, stock, mobile phone.
    • The implementation of promotions when applicable.
    • Field any trade related issues or queries at store level.
    • Provide ongoing market intelligence to management.

    Position Requirements

    • Completed Matric or equivalent, accredited by SAQA.
    • 1 - 3 years Field Sales experience *from an Informal Trade*.
    • Own vehicle and a valid driver's license.
    • Must have met set targets for a defined period.
    • Must be a local and reside in the relevant area of operation;

    Merchandiser - Field Sales Department - Gauteng (Devland)

    Diplomat South Africa is recruiting for the role of Merchandiser (45hrs) p/w in the Field Sales Department based in Devland, Gauteng. This position will report to the Hybrid Sales Representative.

    Key Responsibilities:
    To provide efficient and professional merchandising services to allocated customers by maintaining in order to facilitate sales and improve the shopper experience.
    To execute and implement merchandising standards in compliance with Diplomat SA's policies, practices and procedures.

    • Deliver merchandising services productively and cost effectively.
    • Conduct basic calculations for stock control and case conversion and ensure accuracy.
    • Engage with customer to address complaints about deliveries not being on time, out of stock items etc. as the first level of contact.
    • Maintain shelf utilisation on a daily basis. In case of gaps on shelves, approach buyers and ensure resolution.
    • Ensure rotation of stock in the warehouse/stock room of the customer to prevent product going past the expiry date and out of stock issues.
    • Ensure the fastest selling lines are on display.
    • Ensure the shelf space negotiated by KAMS materialises in all the stores.
    • Build and maintain relationships with the customers.
    • Escalate complaints to supervisor/KAM/Sales rep depending on the nature of complaint.
    • Accurately complete the recording book, merchandiser timesheet as well scorecard on a daily basis.
    • Comply with stipulated merchandising standards.
    • Ensure all stock has appropriate pricing labels.
    • Engage the customer to implement the brand priority document.
    • Monitor all the brands/count lines in order to check stock in store.
    • Maintain the recording book with updated planograms and display sched-ules.
    • Take responsibility for self-development through self-study, identification of learning opportunities.

    Position Requirements:

    • Completed Matric or equivalent, accredited by SAQA OR equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in the Merchandising environment within the FMCG industry.
    • Basic knowledge of MS Office and use of relevant devices.
    • Basic math and calculations skills.
    • Product knowledge with good communication skills.
    • Good relationship and time management skills
    • Attention to detail skills.
    • Good planning and organising skills.

    Customer Care Agent - Sales Operations Department - Field Sales Department - Gauteng

    Diplomat South Africa is looking to fill the role of an Customer Care Agent in the Sales Operations - Field Sales Department, based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This position will report to the Call Centre Manager.

    Key Responsibilities:

    To ensure that the customer care centre operates in a manner that supports the customer service excellence objective.
    This role will be responsible to control and monitor the close out of customer complaints in an effective manner and to implement preventative measures not to repeat same errors:

    • Analyse customer complaints and perform trouble shooting to resolve issues.
    • Administer the distribution of data to relevant parties to effectively address customer issues.
    • Raise awareness amongst customers and employees about the customer care centre and the role it fulfil.
    • Maintain the customer data base and assist with technical support.
    • Train and assist staff to refer and utilise the customer care centre effectively.
    • Collect and analyse information about complaints and pass on to relevant person to resolve. Close out the complaint on the system.
    • Compile monthly reports and verify information before submission.

    Position Requirements:

    • Completed matric or equivalent, accredited by SAQA OR equivalent work experience.
    • 3 - 5 years experience in Customer Service / Sales environment preferably within the FMCG environment.
