    Regulatory Reporting + Compliance

    Job description

    ROLE SUMMARY (purpose)

    Responsible for the management of interchange reporting to support regulatory reporting and information requests. Responsible for ensuring compliance of regulated interchange fees, including manual adjustments.

    KEY WORK OUTPUTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
    • Deputise fortheHead of Interchange Regulatory Compliance.
    • Responsible for introducing and managing specific processes and procedures for interchange reporting to support the development and maintenance of Visa EuropeÂ’s regulatory compliance framework.
    • Act as subject matter expert in regards to interchange reporting to regulators.
    • Work closely with the Risk and Legal departments on regulatory matters regarding interchange.
    • Review the requirements of regulatory compliance reporting and information requests and determine how thesecan be supported.
    • Identify the appropriate sources and views of interchange data to collate to answer regulatory reporting requests.
    • Extract, cleanse and analyse data (including at transaction level) from numerous data sources to support regulatory compliance reporting and information requests. This includes writing DBVIZdata requests in SQL to extract data from ERIC and summarising the information and data in MS Excel.
    • Provide progress reports for senior management as required.
    • Support retrospective manual adjustments for regulated interchange fees, including providing data and reviewing manual adjustments where required.
    • Support the management of interchange (and other member-to-member) fee data and MI, in accordance with established policies and procedures.

    Essentialqualifications,knowledgeandexperience
    • High level of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of MSExcel and MS Access
    • High level of SQL and DBViz knowledge and other related data management language skills
    • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyse large volumes of data and provide summaries and reports.
    • Accuracy and very high attention to detail
    • Strongwrittenand verbal communication skills.
    • Educated to degree level or holds equivalent professional experience
