Job description

We are looking for a Senior Integration Developer to work on a client site in Midrand for a 6 month contract.

The Current Pilog contract is an existing contract that has to date been used to manage both the support agreement and projects. In this case the contract has been used to manage the Concept Release Approval Phase (CRA) and will now be used to manage the Design and Execution Release phases.

The project has been divided into three main deliverables namely the implementation of a new Structured Text Generator module of Pilog, changes to the Services interface, enhancements to Pilog application and data purification.

The scope of work will cover the Pilog module itself, the interfaces to / from Pilog and MDM and SAP ECC6 (Materials Management module – Materials Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Code walk through to ensure no hardcoding of values, ensure proper error handling is employed in the code, ensure adherence to ICOE coding standards.
• Perform Code Walk through quality assessment and Ensures quality and smooth release of code through different project phases
• Ensure that end systems’ software release reuse the already implemented ICOE error and audit framework.
• Participate in Solution design and discussions and thereby ensuring Oracle Fusion best components are utilized in the code.

• Skills Transfer: To ICoE
• Manuals, Informal training Sessions, Coaching (shadowed by Eskom resources)
• Documented Technology skills transfer to ICoE
