Job description

The incumbent will be responsible for providing and assimilating information to site management for compilation of reports and certificates; drafts and monthly payment certificates. Recording additional work and calculating variation claims in accordance with the contract provisions and processes. Responsible for the commercial outcome of the project/projects that fall under his/her control and to ensure QS functions are executed to maximise the commercial outcome of the project(s).

Minimum Requirements

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

National Diploma / B Tech / BSc in Quantity Surveying

Experience

8 -10 years Quantity Surveyor or relevant experience

Duties & Responsibilities

• Generating progressive revenue and allowables by adjusting certified revenue and allowable with any under/over claim
• Monthly payment certificates and final account
• Change and contract management
• Cost reporting
• Identifying and analysing of critical path in planning schedule
• Project management support and understanding and utilisation of project controls
• Interfacing with client
• Will be required to do work from time to time that is outside of the job description and detailed above
