Job Description:

The primary purpose of the Product Owner role is to maximize the value of software products that are being developed by Sage Intelligence. This is achieved via multiple activities such as translating strategic goals into operational objectives, performing research, analysis, understanding and communicating business/ client requirements into software requirements that will meet market needs, through the Product Council. The term ‘owner’ describes the software development team’s desire to work with a single person who owns the software requirements which must be implemented.

The Product Owner plays an important role in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and operates as a team with other Product Owners reporting to a Product Manager to ensure the highest quality Sage Intelligence products. Product Owners are operationally focused and represent the voice of customers at an operational requirements level.

• Forms a part of the Product Management team is overall responsible for:
• Create and manage product roadmap for core product and integrations (new & live) – collaborating with other Sage PMs​
• Research, analysis and requirements gathering to define product and use cases / stories for PD. Collaborative refining with PD ​
• Create product designs & define in-product UX based on customer feedback and ensure sufficient UAT coverage​
• Product go / no go decision and successful handover of product to all live services teams​
