    Customer Marketing Executive

    We currently have a unique opportunity for an amazing person to join our team at Bacardi South Africa for the role of Customer Marketing Executive - South Africa.

    Based in the Johanessburg office and reporting to the Customer Marketing Manager - South Africa, you’ll be an inspiring, fire in the belly marketing professional, who is passionate about our drinks portfolio.

    About the Role

    • As the Customer Marketing Executive South Africa, you will be accountable for embeding within your market, world class Brand Management that drives net revenue per case and value share. Your ability to manage your distributors at any given time will be key, as will be your comfort in working seamlessly within the matrix, in particular with the sales team
    • You will supporting in driving the ‘brand equity building’ of the Bacardi Martini portfolio at the point of purchase in your market
    • Proactively seek opportunities across outlet segments to engage consumers in Johanessburg retail trade
    • You will support the distributor teams to be thorough and meticulous in planning and to execute with excellence at the point of purchase.
    • You will Infuse creativity in the local Bacardi team, distributor teams, advertising agencies and other stakeholders to develop activations at the point of purchase that will give our portfolio a disticnt competitive advantge competitive brands. Within the remit of global brand strategies.
    • Work in close cordination with consumer marketing to develop a strong relevant local platforms for our brands in your market within permissable local laws and CSR.
    • Frequently visit the market to establish relationships with key strategic stakeholders, seek opportunities at the point of purchase, inspect event activations, work alongside distributor sales and marketing teams to demonstrate the importance Bacardi attaches to excellence at the point of purchased and check competitor activity.
    • Inspire and drive the spirit of ‘The First Mover Advantage’ at the point of purchase with the Distributor and Bacardi teams, in order to achieve a competitive advantage vis a vis competition.
    • You will assist the Customer Marketing Manager South Africa to to win customer support in On- and Off-Premise channels for Category and channel plans whilst improving value share and net revenue per case
    • You will assist in delivering the market’s Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) process thereby ensuring that your Commercial team receive high quality customer programs, materials & assets to deliver value to our company
    • This role is based in Johanessburg, South Arica a large percentage of your time will be spent interacting with the distributors. As a result, you can expect to be travelling extensively to stay connected to all stakeholders.

    Key Accounts & Responsibilities

    • You will assist in driving the IAP annual process in your market
    • You will differentiate Growth Drivers in your market by channel segment to support delivery
    • You will develop Channel Strategies based on the market segmentation and prioritization framework
    • Build Value Propositions by channel for your markets
    • Work with the sales team to plan their activities per channel and sell in to Customers
    • Work cross-functionally to monitor execution of the IAP, confirming that your market receive assets in timely and relevant detail to secure full Customer support.
    • Input feedback to the team
    • Demonstrate best practice Customer Marketing standards
    • You will be the responsible for SRM System finance management – PO Creation and Managements, Goods received, invoice submission
    • You will responsible for the management of A&P Year to Date tracker, Third Party supplier invoice management , New Vendor creation
    • You will also manage the Marketing Budget form approvals, filing and cross checking against monthly summary
    • To be successful in this role, you need to be:

    • Able to report, analyse, measure the efficiency of your strategy in the market
    • The following experiences are peferred:
    • Sales or Marketing specialisatio
    • Minimum 3 to 5 years sales/marketing experience in FMCG or Alcohol and Beverage industry
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Excellent written and spoken communication in English
