Qualifications

• 7+ years design and implementation experience with distributed applications
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or database architecture
• 3+ years of experience in cloud application architecture using AWS
• Experience with startup or startup like working environment
• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort in speaking with senior executives at large companies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Masters preferred
• Demonstrate high learning agility
• Open to upto 50% travel when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years software/technology client facing experience
• Experience with “on-premise to cloud” migrations or IT transformations
• Experience architecting/operating solutions build on MS Azure, IBM Cloud, Salesforce, etc.
• Architecture and security certification

We are looking for Data Architects to serve large global companies in building secure, scalable Big Data architectures. S/he will be responsible for designing mission critical digital solutions on cloud including analytics and big data solutions. S/he will also play key role in counseling clients and, knowledge and practice development.

S/he will be responsible for designing mission critical digital solutions on cloud including analytics and big data solutions. S/he will also play key role in counseling clients and, knowledge and practice development.
• S/he will also be responsible for designing McKinsey’s cloud-based big and advanced analytics data platform. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneur who enjoys architecture and security challenges, and has terrific client service mindset.

Role And Responsibilities

• Design cloud-based architectures to build and scale digital solutions including statistical data analyses, data mining, BI, Data warehouse and optimization
• Help clients migrate to cloud by providing strategic direction, designing and driving architecture and implementation plan
• Implement robust security measures
• Practice DevOps and agile principles
• Technology thought leader with McKinsey and Client teams
• Be a Big Data/Cloud evangelist. Educate McKinsey and Client teams on Big Data/Cloud Architecture
• Lead technical design workshop to co-create solution and architecture with client
• Participate actively in external/internal meetups e.g., speak at conferences, author book
