Key Purpose

To maintain, develop & enhance profitable sales of Engen products to customers by providing technical & engineering advise & service

• Conduct root-cause analysis, offer solutions & prepare relevant reports
• Conduct Fuels & Lube Surveys & product analysis
• Handle insurance claims
• Product Training
• Train sales teams & customers
• Product Quality & Information
• Maintain & update product datasheet
• Communicate technical specs to sales teams & customers
• Maintain SABS Certification
• Attend SABS technical meetings
• Marketing Intelligence
• Provide feedback on competitor products
• Identify new product development opportunities
• Product Lifecycle Management
• Technical advise regarding new product development or discontinuation of existing products
• Product Launch
• Compile technical product specification sheets
• Customer and Stakeholder Management
• Ensure Sub Family/Departmental alignment with customer and stakeholder policy and procedure
• Engage Internal customers and stakeholders on service/delivery needs
• Ensure related SLA's in place and adhered to
• Manage relations with external stakeholders
• Contractor Management
• Ensure Contractor SLA's in place and adhered to
• Manage relations with service providers
• Compliance to Performance
• Weekly feedback on performance deliverables Contract
• Accountable for IDP
• Identify development areas and take initiative to close gaps
• Manage workload/time to enable execution of IDP

Education & Experience

• BTech Degree Mechanical Engineering or BSc Degree Mechanical Engineering
• Candidate must have strong mechanical background from a heavy industry.
• Petrochemical strong Mechanical background will be a distinct advantage.
