Financial and HR Manager at Absolute Aviation Group

Job description

We are looking for an experienced financial and HR manager to assist the CFO in all financial management aspects as well as undertake all aspects of HR management.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist the CFO with management of all accounting and finance operations
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Additional controller duties as necessary
• Managing all HR functions and operations
• Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
• Managing the recruitment and selection process
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
• Maintain pay plan and benefits program
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
• Preparing and publishing timely monthly HR and financial reports

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a financial manager with HR management experience
• 5+ years of overall combined HR and finance experience
• Minimum BCompt Accounting degree
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Thorough knowledge of systems and databases
• People oriented and results driven
• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
