Growth requires the delivery of new and improved products and services. Innovation and technology is the enabler to SME and entrepreneur growth and competitiveness. Innovation and technology will open up new opportunities, deliver economic gain. This Position heads up the Technology and Innovation division within Enterpriseroom. This includes reviewing current strategy and offerings with a view to implementation and enhancement as well as providing strategy and advisory, programme management, programme design, implementation and stakeholder management for the development and growth of SMEs in South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Product development and offerings
• Advisory and strategy development for clients, specifically pertaining to their technology and innovation requirements
• Ideation to commercialisation of concepts
• Providing thought leadership around technology and innovation
• Develop the content, methodology, process & ecosystem to drive innovation for clients and together with the Training Manager embed these concepts into a development framework for the SME’s we work with
• Formalising the division: recruit new staff, refine the strategy
• Driving new client acquisition to meet revenue targets
• Managing the budget of the division
• Staff Management
• Experience and Competiencies
• Relevant ICT sector experience and/or understanding of the ICT landscape
• Innovation methodology and implementation
• Experience in developing and implementing successful strategies and programmes in technology and innovation
• Experience in facilitation of ideation to commercialization processes
• Experience in working with SME’s
• Developing sales pipeline and driving new sales
• Customer relationship management at executive level
• Multiple stakeholder management
• Reliable, professional and deadline driven with a good work ethic
• Excellent reporting skills for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree,
• Relevant Masters degree
• Relevant qualifications in Technology and Innovation
• Driver’s license
• Ability to travel within South Africa
