    Sales Manager

    Job description

    Location of the position: Innovation Hub, Pretoria

    Start date: 17 July 2017 (if candidate can start sooner, it would be advantageous)

    hearX seeks a Sales Manager. You must have excellent problem solving skills, along with exceptional attention to detail and outstanding written and oral communications abilities.

    Main duties and responsibilities:

    • Compile sales strategies for local and international markets.
    • Manage sales teams consisting of Business Development Managers and Sales Consultants.
    • Establish client to be contacted and pursued in terms of potential business partners
    • Oversee and train sales teams on relevant processes and oversee sales team’s activities and targets.
    • Collaborate closely with our Marketing Manager to ensure strategic alignment and drive sales targets.
    • Drive engagement with customers through various channels (meetings, calls, proposals, conferences).
    • Stay up to date with market trends both locally and internationally.
    • Generate monthly reports on activities, that include reporting on customer visits, sales targets and strategies.
    • Achieve and/or exceed budget expectations.
    • Scheduling and planning of customer visits.
    • Manage sales enquiries by offering accurate quotations, lead times and invoices.

    Education and/or work experience requirements:

    • Minimum BCom Business Management or related Commerce degree
    • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Sales Manager
    • Experience in selling niche products
    • Audiology experience would be beneficial
    • Experience in advocacy, advance selling and lobbying
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills
    • Good negotiation and presentation skills
    • Be innovative and persuasive
    • Have good networking skills
    • Ability to deal with a variety of stakeholders at all levels (audiologists, doctors and government departments)
    • Ability to work with long sales cycles
    • Computer Literate (Ms-Excel and Ms-Powerpoint)
    • Experience in CRM systems like Sales Force, Agile CRM and Pipe Drive
