    Account Manager: Government Sales

    Job description

    GRADE : F4

    DIVISION : Sales and Marketing

    DEPARTMENT : Sales

    REFERENCE NUMBER : AMGS17

    PURPOSE / DETAILS OF THE JOB

    Purpose of the job:

    • To develop, foster and maintain a business relationship with all stakeholders in order to achieve NMCSA’s objectives. It is done through innovative leadership by:
    • Alignment of NMCSA’s objectives with Government and Government type focus
    • Development & maintenance of business relationship with stakeholders
    • Create a working climate to maximize potential
    • Integrate the cross functionality of all functions/systems
    • Participate in the submission of the RT57 tender
    • Ensure that NSA Governmentt BP targets are achieved

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing OR any related qualification
    • 2 - 5 years experience in sales and marketing in the Automotive industry
    • Experience in dealing with Fleet and Government customers
    • RT5 knowledge essential

    BACKGROUND / KNOWLEDGE

    • PC Literate (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Understanding of motor retail industry.
    • Willing to travel to all Provinces in South Africa.
    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Good presentation skills
    • Highly motivated and self-confident or starter
    • Must be able to work under pressure and maintain standards
    • Must be able to understand market trends and react accordingly
    • Display professionalism
    • Customer and people orientation
    • Innovative and solution orientated
    • Understand NSA strategic objectives
    • Develop business and customer relationships
