Job description

• Develop and implement the Aftermarket Business Plan in accordance with the guidelines and strategies defined by the Compressor Technique Service division and futher grow the Aftermarket business to the next level;
• Focus on climbing the service ladder and increase the service contract ratio significantly;
• Develop further the maintenance concept for competitor units on combined compressor room installations;
• Manage the sales activities in order to reach a target of 1 to 1 ratio of Atlas Copco installed equipment being serviced by our organization;Increase significantly our market presence and brand image in the South African market;
• Identify the customer needs and evaluate their potential for further development by continues contact and follow-up;
• Provide a high level of satisfaction and service quality to the existing service customers;Support the group vision "First in Mind and First in Choice" by continuously promoting a customer care and customer value driven culture;
• Stabilize, grow and reinforce the present organization to ensure success in our ambitious growth targets;
• Have a close tight control of all operational costs;Develop and support a spirit of open communication and fairness in all areas of operations;
• To safeguard integrity and transparecy of operations by making sure that FAM is understood and applied;
• Provide Aftermarket support to Distributors.In all circumstances safety of Employees has to be top priority.

Mission

• Your mission is to further develop and profitably growth of the Aftermarket business in accordance with the divisional consolidated profitability.
• You will ensure that we are recognised as the reference supplier for Aftermarket product and service.
• As Business Line Manager you will report to the CT General Manager.
• You will be a key member of the Management Team and will be a driving force for the Company's overall performance and image.
• You will be supported by a Sales Manager, Service Operations Manager & Technical Manager.

Experience requirements

• Result-oriented and experienced professional with proven track record in service business and operations;
• Management experience;
• Good planning and organizational skiilsAbility to direct the indentification of business opportunities for the profitable growth of the market;Strong Customer Care focus.

Knowledge

• Good communication skillsComputer LiterateCT product knowledge

Educational requirements

• University degree in Egineering or similar through experience.
• Management experience and good understanding of Atlas Copco financials (in particular those related to service);
• Proven commercial and business experience.

Personality requirements

• You are a strongly motivated and pro-active person, and result oriented;
• Management experience and good understanding of Atlas Copco financials (in particular those related to service);
• You have a strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills, sound commercial awareness and a drive for success;Willingness to travell in the country and International for business.
