Quality Assurance Manager at EarthStream

Job description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager, based in Port Elizabeth, working for a Global Oil & Energy organisation.

You will oversee the effective day to day running of the Quality Management Systems and team. Your experience in Quality Assurance will be essential to develop, implement and continue to improve the Quality System process, you will have detailed working knowledge of ISO 9001 2015 and API Q1.

Job Duties

• Manage overall QA function within departments of facilities in Port Elizabeth
• Support QA and Documentation direct reports in order to ensure day to day running of the quality management systems
• Ensure and promote adherence to Quality processes
• Develop, implement and continuous improvement of Quality System required by a) accrediting bodies b) legislation c) internal audit and performance measures
• Work within allocated budget
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with applicable Quality Procedures
• Ensure Aftermarket suppliers, especially in the areas of special process and quality critical work, are evaluated and monitored appropriately
• Review and ensure the correctness of documentation and data for external products
• Participate in a standardised approach to scheduling, controlling and conducting Internal Audits
• Maintain technical certifications
• Meet quality assurance financial objectives by estimating requirements; Preparing annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions
• Travel when required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant technical degree /diploma is essential
• Relevant Quality Assurance qualification is essential
• Degree in a relevant subject – Manufacturing, Engineering or equivalent is desirable

EXPERIENCE:

• Working knowledge within a similar role
• Min 5 years’ Management experience in Quality Assurance environment
