Asset Care Specialist - Alrode Brewery at The South African Breweries (SAB)

Job description

The key purpose of this role is to provide technical leadership and support to the plant in terms of asset management technology to enable the implementation of business strategies. The aim is to leverage equipment, productivity, reliability and maintainability, thereby enabling high plant availability and utilisation at lowest cost.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Manage asset care
• Maintenance system management
• Condition monitoring
• Problem solving
• Develop pakcaging wide asset management strategy
• Lead asset management excellence
• Provide specialist asset management support

Competence requirements:

• BSc Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Deep understanding of maintenance field and asset care on FMCG equipment
• Management experience of of Mechancial Maintenance Workshop or Machine Shop
• In depth understaning of maintenance related systems, e.g. RCM, TPM (MMS CMT,etc)
• Prior production and engineering experience in a line management position
