INTRODUCTION

Are you an enthusiastic, highly creative designer with a passion for digital marketing? We’re looking for someone with proven experience and a strong online portfolio which demonstrates awesome flair in web design, typography, branding and information design. You will be working across Fund Tool, Factsheets and Investor Portal, working with the implementations team to meet client requirements. This will involve working on a variety of projects including websites, widgets, web-applications and UX design. You'll be required to not just to follow guidelines but also bring your own ideas and enthusiasm for innovation. For that you’ll need to have a strong appreciation of UX, RWD and be at ease with wire-framing ideas to present to both internal and outsourced resources.

Responsibilities

• Execute visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Assist in establishing and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Requirements

• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction. Passionate about improving UX via new and existing solutions
• Undergraduate degree in graphic/web design or a related field, with 1-3 years of web design experience or equivalent
• A strong online portfolio demonstrating excellent web design skills
• Proven work experience as a web designer
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Highly proactive – always thinking of new ideas and ways to use technology to increase efficiency
• Passionate about keeping up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Bohemian Coding Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Experience in responsive web design and a “Mobile first” approach
• Ability to wireframe, prototype and present ideas
• Self-sufficient with time management and being well organized
• CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less etc.)
• Knowledge of and experience with React

Advantageous

• Familiar with managing websites in WordPress
• Familiar with the Finance industry
• Prior experience working with Agile/Scrum
• Prior experience working on SaSS products
