    Senior HR Professional

    Job description

    MMI Holdings currently have two opportunities available for two Senior HR Professionals reporting directly to the Retail Head of HR. They oversee Head Office and Cape Free State Regions respectively.

    ROLE PURPOSE:

    Partnering with the Distribution Channel business and HR Teams in order to assess business requirements and develop and implement holistic HR Solutions that empower the business to achieve it's objectives.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • BCom in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology or related field
    • 7 years HR generalist experience within an insurance / financial / retail services environment
    • 3 years management experience
    • Available to travel

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Support a business culture that is consistent with the vision, purpose and values of the organisation
    • Act as trusted coach and advisor to leaders in the business on HR related issues.
    • Develop partnerships with business leaders and stakeholders to determine their HR requirements and propose innovative MMI HR solutions.
    • In collaboration with the relevant HR COE and HR team, develop, plan and implement HR solutions that are aligned to and empowering the business to achieve its business objectives. This include solutions aimed at achieving capable workforce plan, managing organisational change, engaging employees, increasing organisational effectiveness and strategic management of talent across the employee lifecycle
    • Manage the implementation of sound employee relations practices and oversee the resolution of employee relations matters, providing consultation and advise in order to effectively support the business and manage IR/ER risk.
    • Collaborate with, influence and empower Business leaders to achieve Employment Equity plans and targets.
