Export Sales Administrator- Africa at Revlon

Job description

• 5+ years of progressive Africa Export experience required, preferably in a multi-divisional consumer goods public company. Knowledge of cosmetic industry advantageous.
• Participate in functional planning of the Africa export business together with Africa Business Development Manager (BDM)
• Assist in business development admin office functions, e.g. forecast/ invoicing, etc./ order reconciliation processes/order recording supervision/checking prices are up to date
• Support the Africa BDM with general operations to help reach the EMEA team’s objectives.
• Assist in general internal sales support and administrative activities in the absence of other members of the sales team
• Liaise with the production facilities to ensure requested customer lead times are reviewed and achieved where possible
• Tracking orders from beginning to end and ensuring goods are ready on time and in full for dispatch/Assist in correctly and timeously shipping all consignments from the Revlon Distribution Centres to Customers in Africa
• Investigate future availability of products via the in house ordering system, ensuring that there are both purchase orders and works orders in place to cope with the future demand.
• Liaising with Production Planning, Sourcing and Purchasing when required to ensure everything is sourced in time for dispatch. Work with Revlon demand team and Africa BDM to ensure that correct and sufficient stock for export shipments is available
• Assist in tracking, monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting sales data from African distributors by country/category/SKU
• Compile and match invoices and waybills to different local shipping areas and oversee final documentation
• Understand and manage customer relationships and expectations
• Work with Revlon HQ to comply with labeling requirements in time for shipment/ work with the international and local Distribution Centres to improve order turnaround time
• Responsible for overseeing the requirements regarding importing and exporting shipments into AFRICA
• Knowledge of inspection agencies regulatory requirements
• Team with third party service providers, e.g., freight forwarders, etc., as necessary, to implement and/or maintain established logistics processes in support of client trade operations
• Problem Resolution - spotting potential problems at the earliest opportunity and proposal of constructive solutions/alternative products.
• Assist with A&M as requested by customers
• Respond rapidly with information when requested either by telephone, fax or mail.

• Self - starter with the ability to work unsupervised under potentially difficult conditions and pressure

FMCG experience

Excellent command of the English language with French and or Portuguese as advantageous.
