    IT & PBX Technician

    Job description

    The Role:

    CallCabinet SA is looking for a Junior IT & PBX Technician with a minimum of 1 year experience supporting multiple PBX installations and support, as well as a basic IT knowledge.

    • Good knowledge working with server hardware, voice equipment and telephony.
    • CallCabinet software and hardware installations
    • Administrating and supporting of the above mentioned
    • Maintaining of procedures, best practice and guides for installations and support
    • Resolve customer technical and non-technical inbound calls and emails in a timely manner
    • Provide professional customer service at all times
    • Escalate any 2nd Line Technical faults or other problems that may impact on service delivery immediately
    • Check and update client information within the relevant systems following contact
    • Provide internal administrative support where necessary
    • Supporting continuous development of product, processes and practices
    • Keeping up with current technology to support colleagues through knowledge sharing

    Job Requirements:

    • Essential: A good working understanding of Windows and general pc maintenance and installations. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Skype and the ability to learn quickly.
    • Advantageous: Knowledge and experience working and installing of PBX systemstelephony

    Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication and problem solving skills
    • Ensure customer excellence and a brand advocate at all times.
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
    • Be a Team player with a positive attitude. Must be able to work closely with the technical team providing guidance, assisting with call requests, troubleshooting and escalations
    • Able to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
    • Excellent time keeping and time management skills
    • The ability to work with a helpdesk
    • Installation and basic administration of Windows 7 Pro and Windows Server 2012 STD
    • Have an understanding of basic networking and telephony
