Key responsibilities

Our dynamic team is looking for a Creditors Clerk. This role would be responsible for the following:

• Match invoices to budget
• Capture and process invoices
• Credit Card recons
• Reconciling payments with invoices
• Resolving daily supplier queries
• Maintaining Creditors Ledger
• Performing Creditor Reconciliations
• Liaising with creditors and internal departments
• Review staff claims submitted, in local and foreign currency, on weekly basis for payment
• Review of petty cash allocations and monthly petty cash reconciliations
• Analysis of cash spend and monthly cash requirements
• Collaborate with cost controller regarding expense spending to budget
• Streamline processes

Skills and competencies
Essential

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting
• Bookkeeping Diploma
• 5 years full function Credit Control experience
• Group of companies
• Exposure foreign currency transactions and translation

• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail with inner drive for accuracy and meeting deadlines
• Can work independently
• Adaptability/Flexibility
• Problem solver
• Keen to learn
• Proficient in Pastel Evolution
• Proficient in MS Excel
