    Job Summary

    To sell the full range of Medtronic Energy based Device products in a professional manner to hospitals and related healthcare professionals and to build strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage and gain greater market share at all times.

    Key Duties/Responsibilities

    • Promote current and new products – budgets and focus product incentives. Set personal and professional goals in an ongoing attempt to drive new business sales and gain competitor market share and still maintain and grow current market share.
    • Complete all administrative tasks punctual and accurate within given deadlines – planners and reports, leave forms, expense claims and other.
    • Analyse the territory on a monthly basis
    • Building relationships and provide an excellent before and after sales service
    • Achieve and exceed sales budget, implementation of sales plan and growing existing business as well as managing customer relations at all levels in your territory. Effectively manage expense budget allocations as well as all consignment accounts.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric certificate
    • Relevant Degree or Diploma
    • Must be willing to attend congresses and workshops(occasionally weekends)

    Job Skills

    • 3 Years’ relevant sales experience
    • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
    • Strong analytical and strategic experience
    • Highly motivated, dynamic and goal orientated
    • Must be able to work under pressure

    Skills/Competencies

    • Ability to understand and communicate detailed technical terminology
    • Ability to be comfortable in the theatre environment
    • Ability to work independently, as well as a team
    • Target driven with proven sales record
    • Aptitude to learn and understand anatomy, physiology and surgical procedures
    • Excellent communication skills on all levels and to all departments within a hospital
    • Must be computer literate
