    Marketing Coordinator

    Job description

    Executing of integrated marketing strategies that maximise ROI focused on: Advertising

    • Brand Management
      • Online reputation management Client Relationship Management
      • Sponsorship Management
    • Advertising
      • Contribute to concept, layout and design input
      • Fact checking of advert copy and statements
      • Copy writing input and direction
      • Manage the Group’s media plan and the roll-out the media advertising strategy
      • Manage advertising budget and spend
      • Streamline all (national) advertising artwork
      • Manage all ad hoc advertising requests
    • Brand and Corporate ID Management
      • Use corporate brand equity to create brand recognition
      • Ensure the Group’s brand adheres to the corporate identity set out
      • Manage the branding of company stationery, mobile and vehicle branding as well as building branding
    • Online
      • Ensure online campaigns are rolled-out and managed
      • Website management
      • Maintain online reputation matters
      • Ensure the RFQ portal is fully functional and filter requests through to sales team plus analyse and track efficiency
      • Develop an online marketing campaign that will ultimately increase sales through various platforms and techniques.
    • Client Relationship Management
      • Support the Marketing team in client relation activities
    • Sponsorship Management
      • Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships.
      • Planning, implementation and follow-up on all strategic partnership events
      • Co-ordinate all event logistics – this includes advertising and collateral material design, production and distribution.
      • Identify potential brand awareness sponsorships for the Group
      • Identify brand awareness opportunities locally and abroad and manage the logistics involved
      • Assist in pre-event promotions which varies by activity

    Additional job requirements

    • Annually develop and implement marketing plans and materials
    • Actively participate in weekly status and feedback meetings
    • Compile monthly reports outlining the action items performed in the month
    • Assist the Communications and Marketing Manager and department whenever necessary
    • Comfortable and competent in presenting to groups
    • Ensure effective management of the budget pertaining to the marketing. Accurate spending according to the budget and the overall objectives.

    Educational Requirements

    • Matric qualification
    • Diploma in Marketing (Required)
    • Degree in Marketing or similar (Advantageous)
    • Valid driver's licence

    Experience Requirements

    • At least five years’ experience in the marketing domain. Skills & Competencies Excellent writing skills
    • Exceptional verbal, written and quantitative skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to forge relationships with all stakeholders
    • Excellent planning and organising ability
    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • Innovative and an ability to think conceptually and strategically
    • An ability to cope with pressure and meet tight deadlines, be flexible and able to adapt
    • An ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
