Microsoft?s Middle East & Africa (MEA) University Recruiting Team is looking for a University Recruiter / Talent Sourcer to join our diverse and dynamic workforce. Our team supports all of Microsoft?s hiring needs from Universities, including both full time and intern positions in Engineering, Finance and Marketing, and MBA pursuing and closing the best and brightest from universities.

    Microsoft is a global company with a global customer base; therefore, we hire students from Universities around the world. Our University Recruiter partners with hiring managers, talent acquisition teams, HR managers and peers to influence and shepherd our university hiring strategy. They also have a passion for telling our MS story and will be the face of Microsoft at our top, targeted global programs by leading pivotal company presentations with Microsoft executives and extending relationships and partnerships with universities.

    Our University Recruiter will close on the highest quality candidates, playing a key role at each stage in the hiring process.

    Primary responsibilities of a University Recruiter / Talent Sourcer may include:

    • Cultivate and build University Engagement plans for Top Universities ? cultivating and building relationships with Career Offices, Professors, Alumni, University clubs, and beyond. ? Use data insights to drive the Tiering of Universities across the Geo or Subsidiaries to drive hiring of top university talent & focus sourcing efforts and investments
    • Develop strong online sourcing strategies to identify university talent from Top Tiered Universities
    • Deliver University Engagement activities to get Microsoft closer to the top talent in the world such as Meet the Company presentations, career fairs, hackathons, tech talks, and professor engagements.
    • Attracting and closing the highest quality University candidates and playing a key role at each stage in the hiring process ? Be an exceptional storyteller of Microsoft?s vision, strategy and the graduate and intern programs. ? Directly partner with University Recruiting / Talent Sourcer peers in defining and maintaining core and niche pipelines ? Work with teams to engage with business early in the recruiting cycle, always promote diverse, technical candidates from our key competitor?s intern programs
    • Research and gather market intelligence.
    • Map our competitors, deliver data driven insight
    • Ensure Operational Excellence through: o Delivering an exceptional stakeholder and candidate experience from the first touch point ? keep candidates at the center of every process o Interview day and assessment center excellence: Alignment with businesses on Interviewers, interviewer?s readiness, and on-site logistics.
    • Ensuring the recruitment systems are updated all the time o Ensuring continues updates to all stakeholders with the on-ground activities as needed

    Qualifications:

    • BS/BA degree or equivalent is required. ? Master?s degree, or equivalent, in a related field (HR, MBA, Learning & Development) is preferred. ? 3-7 years University or MBA recruiting and/or recruiting experience in a results oriented environment
    • Understanding of the University landscape in Middle East preferred. ? Demonstrable experience and expertise managing multiple candidates and developing recruiting strategies. ? Ability to meet or exceed talent acquisition metrics including individual productivity targets, diversity and client & candidate satisfaction. ? Team player, highly responsive and customer focus orientated and strong organizational and planning skills. ? Strong project management experience; primarily focused on owning and delivering on complex projects from beginning to end. ? Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills ? Language - fluent English, and preferred Arabic
