UX/UI Designer at Enterprisecloud

Job description

EC is looking for creative, innovative, analytical and experienced UX/UI designers to join this dynamic software consultancy company. As a UX/UI designer you will work with our solution architecture and business analyst team, taking responsibility for the full design process of web-based and mobile software that will compliment our enterprise CRM/CEM solutions.

Excellent User Experience design is an important part of the projects EC implements, and is foundational to ensuring user adoption and customer success. The role covers user research, project envisioning, user experience design, wireframing, asset production and testing. Overall, UX/UI designers will be the advocates for the users and oversee all activities which affect the user experience.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Solve interaction design problems using analytical, usability testing and internal/external research
• Prototyping concepts to solve the identified problems / requirements Work with key stakeholders to interpret and help them realise their objectives
• Using standard tools (such as Axure, Photoshop, InVision) to provide expertly crafted IA and UX documentation and design
• Promote the best practice of interaction design within EC as a whole
• Develop, support and evolve the product style guide and information architecture as a result of UX research and user surveys
• Ability / knowledge of preparing prototypes of features (ranging from paper-and-pencil concepts to wireframes or interactive prototypes) for review and brain-storming
• Deliver graphic assets (both stock and original) across multiple formats for mobile, web and wearable platforms
• Keep up with up to date UX design trends

Essential Requirements

Design Skills:

• Minimum 3yrs of experience
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
• Ability to collaborate with a team (the customer, users, analysts, architects, developers, etc)
• Experience with mobile and responsive web design patterns
• Interface and interaction design
• Navigation and architecture experience
• Knowledge of IA solutions such as Axure and InVision
• Typography skills
• Photoshop and Sketch
• User Research, Feedback & Surveys

Technical Knowledge:

Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, etc

Qualifications:

• A current portfolio that reflects a strong understanding of online design
• Degree or diploma in design / visual communication / similar (Preferably from a design focussed school)
• Professional exposure to user experience designs
