    Regional Publishing Process Coordinator

    Job description

    The Role:

    We are looking for an experienced professional to appoint to the role of Regional Publishing Process Coordinator within the Publishing and Services department. The Regional Publishing Process Coordinator uses theirstrong organisation, communication and analytical skills to:

    • Collate, analyse and present data pertaining to publishing projects across the Southern African region
    • Liaise with external and internal stakeholders on requirements for both submissions and Education Department catalogues
    • Co-ordinate admin and support functions within the Publishing and Services Department.

    The Requirements:

    • An relevant Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration or equivalent tertiary qualification
    • Relevant experience in a business administration or senior executive assistant role (experience in a similar position in the publishing industry will be an advantage)
    • Proven experience in data analysis, project management and team support
    • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
    • Advanced computer skills (especially in MS Office suite), with excellent analytical skills
    • Highly organised and self-motivated, with strong time-management skills
    • Able to work well under pressure
    • Able to filter information and accurately assess priorities with conflicting demands and busy work periods
    • Able to work well independently, using own initiative
    • Able to build and maintain key working relationships at all levels, both within the company and with external stakeholders
    • Able to manage support staff

    The Responsibilities:

    • Project management of a diverse publishing list for submissions
    • Working to strict deadlines and excellent quality standards
    • Ensuring that all critical tasks given are completed on time and within budget
    • Frequent liaison with relevant departments to facilitate seamless workflow
