Retail Space Planner at DotActiv

We are looking for a Retail Space Planner to join our team in the Johannesburg area with an earning potential of R9000 - R12 000 per month. This dynamic role will be perfect for an individual who is looking to pursue a career within the retail industry or someone who values strategic planning and problem solving, customer satisfaction, and working in an innovative environment.

What would the job entail?

• As a Space Planner at DotActiv you would be responsible for the production of:
• (By utilising DotActiv’s Powerful Space Planning Software)
• Assortment Plans,
• Floor Space Plans,
• Shelf Space Plans (Planograms),
• Floor- and space plan analytical reviews, ranging reports and category analytical reviews for a number of retail categories,
• Maximising customer and category performance by considering category strategies and plans, product financial performance, shopper psychology and aesthetic appeal,
• Supporting and Guiding customers.

Requirements:

• Ability to combine aesthetic appeal with data insights.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in the Retail Sector would be advantageous.
• Strong People Skills.
• Computer Literacy - MS Office.
• Driver’s license and own transport.
• Modern corporate dress sense.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Assertive.
• Team player.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Work at a fast pace with high accuracy.
• Creative flair and ability to identify aesthetic/visual appeal.
• Retail and/ or Supply Chain related degree or diploma. (Advantageous)
