    Quality Assurance & Pharmacovigilance Pharmacist

    Job Description

    This Role's Main Responsibilities Include, But Aren't Limited To

    • Our Quality Assurance employees play a critical role ensuring our products meet all internal & external requirements before reaching our customers & consumers.
    • Ensuring batches comply with release checks against approved specifications before release of product for sale.
    • Deputizing as and when required for the Responsible Pharmacist.
    • Reviewing and approving Master Batch Manufacturing & Packaging Records and specifications for starting and finished products, while updating the Contract Manufacturer.
    • Evaluating and approving change controls from Contract Manufacturers.
    • Evaluating and approving deviations from Contract Manufacturers and following up on CAPA.
    • Evaluating and approving out of specification results.
    • Reviewing APQR to check compliance.
    • Compiling, training on and implementing departmental SOP’s.
    • Collating data for Quality Management Review.
    • Approving Temperature excursions.
    • Liaising with DC to ensure timely release of batches.
    • Acting & Implementing Pharmacovigilance activities.
    • Promoting continuous improvement of the QMS System.
    • Providing direct support during audits.
    • Maintaining and improving quality standards of the business through internal and external audits, as required.
    • Reviewing and approving stability & validation protocols and reports.
    • Communicating significant risks to the business, reporting on and actively contributing to the quality improvement of existing products.
    • Ensuring availability & control of relevant reference standards for contract labs.

    Qualifications

    • This role is for South African Nationals only.
    • Bachelors in Pharmacy (or related field)
    • 2-4 years of relevant Quality Assurance experience required
