Senior/Clinical Research Associate (based Johannesburg or Durban) at PPD

PPD are currently recruiting for Senior/Clinical Research Associate's to be based in our South African team either office based in Johannesburg or home-based in Durban. These roles are permanent and full-time hours.

We have an opening on both our teams, commercial and non-commercial. For both roles as CRA you will be primarily tasked to set up and monitor clinical trials as part of specific projects. You should thrive in multi-national project teams and be focused on delivering exemplary levels of customer service. For the commercial role with is will be across South Africa; for the non-commercial role this will require travel across the wider African countries in addition to South Africa.

As a CRA, you should have have extensive experience, including experience of start-up, monitoring and close out.

• A minimum of 24 months on site monitoring experience
• University degree in a science related field or are a certified health professional
• In depth knowledge of ICH-GCP and FDA requirements
• Experience of clinical trials
• Willingness and ability to travel across South Africa (and Africa if on non-commercial work)
• Excellent English language skills
• Previous experience in the CRO industry would be advantageous
