PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To manage and ensure continuous vehicle quality according to set standards and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum B Tech Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering / Quality
• 5 -15 years of experience in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or Quality field within Automotive Industry

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Quality Assurance Management
• Internal Quality Process Improvement & Monitoring (VES -Vehicle Evaluation System/
• Inspection Mark Up)
• Customer/ Market / Shipping Quality Monitoring (3MIS -3 Months In Service/ Dealer or Market Concerns)
• Cost Management
• Departmental Cost Monitoring (Budget & Capex setting)
• Time Management
• Monitor and Manage Employees Attendance
• Monitor and Manage QA Reports are done on Time
• People Management
• Safety (Incident Prevention)
• 5S (Work Place Management)
• GK (Shop Floor management)

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

• Accurately analyse Quality Data & deliverables.
• Monitor & Report Plant Quality status.
• Coordinate resources effectively to ensure the achievement of Quality KPIs.
• Ensure delivery of Quality Data is on Time.
• Evaluate & continuously improve current plant Quality Processes to ensure alignment with best practices.
• Continuously liaison with Customers (TCS), PQA & Suppliers, Seniors and General Manager.
• Ensure delivery of projects on time

• Knowledge of industrial/Quality/ mechanical engineering concepts
• Knowledge of metrology
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of production part approval process
• Technical, component (material) knowledge
• Vehicle Process knowledge
• Diagnostic, Analytical, and Communication skills
