Conduct primary research and work with Facebook colleagues to prepare background for meetings with key partners (e.g., identify goals and talking points, provide background on attendees, analyze the current business relationship, and summarize opportunities)
Work closely with the communications team to prepare background and talking points for speeches and panels
Conduct external research on a variety of topics and organisation and synthesize this research into executive summaries with key business and communication insights
Build presentations, compile and edit all briefing materials
Lead special projects and offsites on behalf of the Regional Director, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
Work closely with teams on goal-setting and tracking
Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional groups
Help facilitate partner and client meetings as necessary – meet & greet, notes, follow-up on action items, etc
Stay up-to-date with trends in business and technology including knowledge of current/potential Facebook clients & partners
Juggle a range of tasks and work extra hours as needed
Manage hectic and complex calendars, prepare expense reports and coordinate both domestic and international travel arrangements
Help manage Board Commitments
Shift priorities quickly and act proactively, while maintaining organization and control
Exercise absolute discretion at all times
Travel with Regional Director and team (20% of time)
Minimum Qualification
Minimum of 5+ years’ work experience, preferably with C-Level executives with research and analysis experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Solutions oriented approach to issues
Ability to build presentations in PowerPoint and Keynote and compile briefing materials
Experience leading cross-functional projects
Project management and decision-making skills
Work with people at all levels both inside and outside of Facebook
Track record handling confidential information
Experience with strategic work and the ability to envision the bigger picture with focus on the detailed execution
Marketing and/or corporate communications experience an advantage.
