    Product Development Analyst

    Job description

    • Administer and contextualize PoC solutions received from the S&I department into a Phase 1,2,3 based upon requirements or enhancements received from stakeholders
    • Responsible to incubate, ‘baby-sit’ PoC solutions and ensure commercial deployments are aligned to the specific in-country needs and end user requirements
    • Drive and take ownership of the product lifecycle, clearly understanding and documenting all requirements from the executive/in-country stakeholders
    • Establish a clear operational readiness and handover process for each market region/brand, and ensure compliance thereof
    • Establish a transition process before solutions are handed over to operations or in country (or relevant business units)
    • Document user requirements and establish process and framework for measuring and monitoring the maturity and use of a product - pre and post launch
    • Manage in-country testing and UAT lifecycle and communicate and manage changes to the development teams
    • Ability to translate the market and user opportunity into a clear technical deliverable and make-up within the product that address the user requirements
    • Compile and manage an education and training process as part of the operational readiness for the in-country/ops transition phase. (to)
    • Document specific requirements and feedback on existing products/solutions from the corporate business and in country teams
    • Provide a definitive link between the business, in country stakeholders and the technical features of the end product
    • Attain a clear vision and process of when products are feasible to launch, when to hand back to development and when to retire/withdraw(the commercial/business and technology maturity must be considered here)
    • Formulate and manage a requirements gathering framework for the corporate and in country stakeholders, and end users within the post-PoC phase(involve the marketing teams)
    • Establish a sustainable feedback process post-PoC from the corporate and in country stakeholders
    • Interface, build relationships and communicate regularly with marketing and operations team
    • Analyze customer requirements and provide optimal product development solutions.
    • Manage and drive the technical Change Management process and internalizing of IP
    • Generate routine and ad-hoc product reports to management.
    • Develop process improvements to ensure product quality and productivity.
    • Develop best practices to ensure operational efficiency
    •  Work with Product Development Manager in developing project plan, budget and schedules.
