    Sales Manager

    Job description

    • Do you have your RE 1 (Key Individual) and RE 5 (Representative) Qualification?
    • Do you have Team Management experience?
    • Do you have extensive short-term Insurance Background Experience?
    • Do you have a NQF Level 5 qualification?
    • Do you have minimum 5 years Sales management experience?
    • If Yes – then you’re the one we are looking for.
    • Our client in Johannesburg Area is seeking a Sales Manager to manage a sales team in an insurance environment and ensure that sales target are achieved and maintained.
    • Minimum of 5 years Sales management experience
    • Extensive knowledge and work experience of the funeral and/or insurance environment

    AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

    • Sales Planning and tracking achievement of milestones
    • Achieving of productivity and performance standards as set out by the business
    • Manage the flow of day-to-day operations
    • Monitor team members' participation
    • Assist in developing operational strategy the team will use to reach its goals
    • Provide coaching and communicate clear instructions to team members
    • Assist in the coordination, development and implementation of related training initiatives
    • Assist in the development and implementation of sound policies, procedures and systems for the optimal functioning of the department
    • Ensure that the policies and procedures, rules, guidelines and regulatory compliance are adhered to
    • Communicate with other teams and departments to ensure smooth operation between departments
    • Monthly reporting of teams qualitative and quantitative output.
    • Ensure the team complete all tasks allocated and that sales targets are achieved.
    • Written and Verbal communication with strategic business partners
    • Monitoring and reporting on tasks
    • General Enquiries from customers and other relevant stakeholders
    • Customer support/service to strategic business partners
    • Perform any ad hoc duties as and when required
