Job Advert Summary   

Pick n Pay has an exciting position for a Graduate Finance at our our Kenilworth Offices, Cape Town. This role has a management account focus and will provide graduates with an in-depth experience in budgeting, forecasting and corporate reporting. Graduates will get to participate in developing financial forecasts, interacting with a range of different stakeholders and support financial reporting activities.

Minimum Requirements   

• B Acc (Bachelor of accounting) or B Acc Hons; or
• B Com (Accounting sciences) or B Com Hons (Accounting Sciences); or
• B Com (Accounting) or B Com Hons (Accounting); or
• B Acc Sc (Bachelor of Accounting Sciences) or H_DiP Acc, B Acc Sc (Hons); or
• B Bus Sci (Acc) (Bachelor in Business science (Accounting); or
• B Com Financial Accounting; or
• B Bus Sci Finance (Bachelor in Business Science Finance); or
• BCompt (Financial Accounting) (Bachelor of Accounting Sciences in Financial Accounting)
• Duties & Responsibilities   
• Create and adjust financial forecasts for the business
• Analyse trends and undertake periodic reviews of financial forecasts
• Support the development of budgets within the business
• Analyse trends and undertake periodic review of budgets
• Use different reporting tools to generate various turnover reports
• Generate sales reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Support the creation of executive reports
• Consider the requirements of different audiences when preparing input for result presentations
• Run standard reports on the financial system
• Build user specific reports
• Capture accruals on financial system
