    Technical Support

    Job description

    Main Purpose:

    To provide online Technical Support to the Flightsite team and all major stakeholders using FlightSite technology.

    Who we are looking for:

    This role would spark someone who is inquisitive, loves investigating, problem-solving and someone who can think on their feet. Since travel is never dull and not a single day ever the same, when combined with the fascinating ever-changing technology space, your days in office will never be boring!

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • System (booking system, payment system, bus systems) and quality assurance testing
    • Daily website testing based on test cases
    • Daily error logging and tracking
    • Report on progress
    • Assist clients telephonically and/or via e-mail with any website queries
    • Acknowledge all online support queries within 1 hour
    • Retention of online failed booking attempts, assist clients telephonically and get client system feedback
    • Ensure that the client has been informed of the conditions of travel, in writing, before payment is accepted
    • Create and update client’s booking file including client’s contact details and full details of fare quoted and services offered.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation is issued within allocated time

    Skills/Experience/Competencies

    • Minimum 1 year leisure consulting experience
    • Solutions driven and tech savvy
    • GDS knowledge
    • Strong administrative skills
    • Detail orientated
    • Strong geography and destination knowledge
    • Outgoing, vibrant and approachable with excellent customer service skills and independent problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Adaptive and passionate about travel and people
    • Computer literate with MS Office
    • Own transportation and driver's license
