    Access to Education Project Manager

    About the job
    Job Purpose

    To lead profitable growth and take full responsibility for the overall management of the Technical Customer Training, Health and Safety, Energy University as well as other Education & Training related programmes and/or offers within the Schneider Electric Academy.

    Principle Accountabilities:

    • To take full ownership and accountability for the sales growth of the Schneider Academy
    • To identify, qualify and follow through on sales leads to closure by engaging customers and/or sales representatives where appropriate, includes updating of the Customer Management System and reporting
    • To prepare a training Sales Pipeline and Bi-Weekly Training Sales Forecast
    • To implement a Schneider Academy Monthly Dashboard to reflect revenue per business unit as well as other important measures
    • To support and influence the Schneider Electric Academy offer creation and continuous update
    • To support and influence the Schneider Electric Academy covering Internal as well as External Technical Training requirements for all internal and external customers
    • To grow the Schneider Electric Academy though continuous marketing and promotional activity, staff management, course development and delivery
    • To engage with the Schneider Electric sales force and product marketing managers to promote technical training and to stay abreast of product developments and technical training requirements at all times
    • To collaborate with marketing and product specialists to develop and implement marketing, promotional and sales activities and collateral
    • To setup Best Practice Days as a form of Schneider Academy marketing and revenue generation
    • To ensure that all training courses are full to maximum capacity at all times though customer retention and satisfaction
    • To analyse course participation and implement marketing initiatives to improve attendance
    • To identify areas of improvement/changes and implement ‘best practice”
    • To implement and manage special projects and other requirements as and when required
    • To deliver training as and when required
    • To implement and promote various modes for training and different training platforms to increase the number of people trained through the Schneider Academy
    • To focus on relationship building for Schneider Electric University Relations.
    • To setup and promote Schneider Teachers for Southern Africa
    • Portrait a Customer Winning Culture with urgency for Excellent Customer Service always
    • Using Digitisation in order to achieve efficiency as well as introduce new programs into the Schneider Academy
    • Health & Safety Duties as stipulated in the Occupational Health and Safety Act (No. 85 of 1993)

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    • Minimum relevant qualification at NQF level 4.
    • Qualification in the field of Energy
    • Qualification in the field of Education & Training
    • Minimum of 5- 7 years relevant experience in project management, education, and relationship building/management.
