About the job

• We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage the financial and administrative operations of a high functioning department for one of our clients.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for monthly financial reporting, cash flow management, creditor reconciliations, asset register updates, and VAT compliance. 

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage cash flow within the budget
• Reviewing of creditor reconciliations
• Price administration and timely updating of price changes
• Keeping the asset register up to date and issuing capex applications
• Month end reports and calculations
• Analyzing and reporting on management accounts
• Compile audit files and liaising with internal and external auditors
• Compile annual financial statements and monthly management statements
• VAT calculations and Submissions

Desired Experience & Qualification

• BCom degree in Accountancy
• Completed articles (SAIPA or SAICA)
• Experience in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities
• Experience in FMCG or Manufacturing industry
