Accountant (JB4071) at Educor Holdings

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
• Completed articles
• 2-3 years of proven experience within an accounting environment
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Pastel or ERP, and Sage 300 Accpac
• Advanced knowledge of Excel

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the optimal and streamlined operations of various functions and personnel within the finance department
• Provide guidance, supervision, and training to staff members
• Prepare and execute monthly journal entries and management accounts
• Uphold and execute policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across the board
• Perform monthly reconciliations, process journals, and generate reports on management accounts
• Contribute to budgeting, diligently monitoring, and maintaining control over financial matters
• Assist in the processing of fixed assets and inventory records
