To prepare monthly financial reporting with detailed variance analysis, budgets and forecasts and co-ordinate the external audit processes.
Main Responsibilities (not limited to):
To prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
To co-ordinate and chair the monthly meeting with all Heads of Department (HODs) on departmental expenditure, fixed assets and forecasting.
To ensure consistency in the Company budgeting process through the provision of guidelines and budget calendar, co-ordination of completion of templates, collation of information and consolidation of budget.
To manage the company budget approval process through the Executive Committee (Exco).
To disseminate and distribute the Board approved budget to HODs and upload on ERP system.
To co-ordinate the interim and year-end external audit process.
To co-ordinate the financial year-end processes to ensure deadlines are met.
To co-ordinate company-wide stock counts and report findings.
To ensure compliance to policies, processes, procedures and IFRS.
The Preferred Candidate should have:
B Com (Hons) Accounting.
Completed and registered CIMA or CA (SA).
Minimum of 4 to 6 years Manufacturing Financial Accounting experience of which at least 4 years need to be in a management role.
Knowledge and Skills:
Budgeting and financial management.
IFRS writing and following of internal policies, procedures and processes.
