Accountant SCM at Siyathemba Municipality

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• B Degree with Accounting as a major subject.
• NQF level 7 Computer Literacy-office applications.
• Code EB driving license.

EXPERIENCE

• Completed SAICA Training Contract (Articles) OR
• At least 5 Year Experience in Supply Chain Management with in the Municipal environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates and controls accounting processes associated with the procuring of products and/ or specific services through interaction.
• To communication internally and externally on aspects pertaining to the demand and availability of products and/ or alternatives, pricing, quality, lead times and service delivery standards against agreed terms and conditions.
• Investigating trends and current techniques and reporting on the appropriateness and benefits prior to introduction.
• Monitoring purchase and procurement with Supply Chain Policy and Financial Regulations.
• Optimizing performance of the supply chain through the development of sound relationship and even distribution of work with external service providers.
• Conducting spot checks and verifying the Supply Chain database is utilized for extracting suppliers and service providers.
• Attends to specific administrative information processing and reporting requirements.
